It is important for your children to see you as a servant for the Lord. You should use the Bible for direction on appropriate discipline and upbringing. It is important to set clear guidelines on what you expect from your child, as well as solid consequences that they will experience should they stray away from your instruction. Homeschool dads are attentive and faithful to their children and their spouse. If they make mistakes, they ask for forgiveness. If they succeed, they give credit to the Lord. They instruct their children to view all living things - plants, animals and people - as examples of God's wonderful creation.
